SME-Manager
Enhancing dual education and training through promotion, networking and innovation
This is intended to address persons who lead an SME as a master craftsman respectively master craftswoman.
SME managers are responsible for their company and they play a key role in deciding on the recruiting and training apprentices. Their position allows them to establish networks with other important players in dual education and training such as other SMEs, schools and higher education institutions with a view to promoting its image, value and quality. As head of their SME, they should highlight the advantages of training in their companies. They should also encourage their employees and apprentices to seize opportunities to expand their skills and perspectives, e.g. through advanced trainings or mobility programmes.
