Guiding through different Career Paths

Information about the different career paths should not only take place in paper form, but in an active and participatory way. In this regard, the regions offer different initiatives.

In the region of St. Pölten/Lower Austria/Vienna (A), the "Bildungsmeile Amstetten-Scheibbs" and the format "DUO**STARS SUMMERschool" can be recommended to young people.

The region of Vorarlberg (A) has set up an apprenticeship homepage that teachers can refer to. They can also invite the "Vorarlberg apprenticeship ambassadors" into the classroom.

 

The region of Valais (CH) offers different sources of information for young people. They can get information at the fairs "Berufsschaufenster Upper Valais" and the " Your Challenge - Career and Education Fair", or visit the online platform "Miini Brüefswahl". The "Infopass Valais" and the "EDHEA Internship Day" can provide additional information, too.

 

The Chamber of Skilled Crafts Munich (D) organizes different initiatives that teachers can use to facilitate the awareness raising of young people. For example, teachers can invite the "Training Ambassadors for the Crafts - Virtual Setting" or visit the "Meet your job - Training Fair" with the young people. Furthermore, they can organize an information evening similar to the "Berufsbilderabend der Maria-Ward-Mädchenrealschule Traunstein" or a "Girls day" taster day.

The Munich Chamber of Crafts (D) offers teachers the "Meet your job - training fair" or the "Berufsbilderabend der Maria-Ward-Mädchenrealschule Traunstein" to exchange ideas with other teaching staff.

 

In the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (F), the projects "Craftsmanship makes its cinema" and "Coaching métier" inform about existing career paths.

 

In the region of South Tyrol (I), the initiative "Karriere mit Lehre" informs young people about career opportunities.In the Region of Rosenheim/Bavaria (D) there are several initiatives to inform young people about the different career paths. Teachers can invite "Apprenticeship ambassadors - Combined degree" and the "Ausbildungs-Scouts” into the classroom. The initiative "AusbildungsOffensive-Bayern" provides specific information on the metal and electrical industry.

In the region of Trento (I), teachers can visit the job and school fairs together with their classes. Teachers can also organize participation in orientation initiatives such as "Group Initiatives" and "Job Counselling". A reference to "Talent Checkups" and the website "Sorprendo" can also help young people in the orientation phase.

 

In the region of Slovenia (SL) teachers can visit the "Crafts path" and "Craft Street" together with their classes.
